Sectional gutters (the kind you buy at home centers) have seams every 10–20 feet – and every seam is a potential leak point. At Wichita Roofing Pros, we install seamless gutters that are roll-formed on-site from a continuous coil of heavy-gauge aluminum. The result is a gutter run with zero seams along the entire length of your roofline – only at downspout locations and outside corners where they are required.

We use .032″ aluminum (one step thicker than standard contractor grade .027″) for dent resistance and longevity. Gutters are pitched correctly to move water toward downspouts, and all hangers are spaced 18–24 inches (closer in high-wind or heavy-snow areas). Downspouts are positioned at structural corners where possible and extend at least 6 feet from your foundation or connect to underground drainage.

Seamless gutters are available in 5″ K-style (the standard residential profile) or 6″ half-round for homes with higher roof area or steeper pitches. Color options include 30+ shades from white to dark bronze – we match your existing trim or gutters exactly. Installation typically takes one day for a standard home.

What Seamless Gutter Installation Includes

On-Site Fabrication

Our gutter truck carries coils of aluminum in your chosen color. We measure each roof edge and roll-form gutters to exact length right at your property.

Pitch & Hanger Engineering

We calculate the correct slope (1/4″ per 10 feet is standard) and install hidden hangers at 18–24″ spacing – never visible from the ground.

Downspout Positioning & Extensions

Downspouts placed at corners or where natural drainage exists. Extensions (flexible or rigid) carry water at least 6 feet away from foundation.

Fascia & Soffit Check

Before installation, we inspect fascia boards for rot. If we find issues, we flag them – we can replace fascia (separate quote) before gutters go up.

How are seamless gutters better than sectional gutters?

Seamless gutters have no joints along straight runs – the most common leak point on sectional gutters is at the seams. They are custom-made for your roof length, so there are no mismatched sections or overlaps. Seamless gutters also look cleaner because there are no visible connectors every 10 feet. The only potential downside is they cannot be DIY installed – you need a professional with a gutter machine, like us.

What gauge aluminum do you use?

We use .032″ aluminum – that is 0.032 inches thick. Standard contractor-grade gutters are .027″. The extra .005″ makes a significant difference in dent resistance from hail, ladders, and falling branches. For high-end homes or areas with heavy tree cover, we offer .040″ (commercial gauge) at an upcharge.

How often should gutters be cleaned?

With standard gutters (no guards), clean at least twice per year – spring (after cottonwood seed drop) and fall (after leaves). Homes with overhanging trees may need quarterly cleaning. With micro-mesh gutter guards (see separate service), cleaning frequency drops to every 3–5 years. Neglected gutters lead to overflow, foundation issues, and fascia rot.

Do you install gutters on homes with no existing gutters?

Yes – about 20% of our gutter installations are on homes that previously had no gutters at all. We assess the roofline, determine optimal downspout count, and install a complete system from scratch. Many older Wichita homes lack gutters – adding them significantly reduces basement moisture and soil erosion around the foundation.

What warranty do you offer on seamless gutters?

We provide a 10-year labor warranty on all gutter installations covering leaks, seam failures, or hanger separation. The aluminum coil carries a 30-year manufacturer warranty against paint fading and perforation. For ice dam-prone roofs, we recommend heat cable installation (add-on service) to prevent ice-related gutter damage.
