TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) has become the dominant single-ply membrane for low-slope commercial roofs across Wichita. It combines the seam strength of heat-welded seams (stronger than glue or tape) with a highly reflective white surface that reduces cooling costs and meets Energy Star requirements. At Wichita Roofing Pros, we install TPO systems from Carlisle, GAF, and Firestone – all with 15 or 20-year NDL (No Dollar Limit) warranties covering both material and labor.
We specify TPO thickness (45, 60, or 80 mil) based on your building’s use, roof traffic, and puncture risk. For most office and retail buildings, 60-mil membrane provides the best balance of durability and cost. For industrial facilities with regular roof access for HVAC maintenance, we recommend 80-mil or reinforced TPO. The white reflective surface can lower roof surface temperatures by 50–80°F compared to dark asphalt or EPDM, significantly reducing your building’s cooling load.
Our commercial TPO crews are trained in heat-welding protocols – seams are fused with automated hot-air welders that create a monolithic, watertight bond. We also handle all flashings, curb details, and drain modifications in-house. Every TPO installation is registered with the manufacturer, and you receive full documentation for your property records.

Existing membrane removed (or recovered if permitted). Insulation replaced as needed. Substrate cleaned and primed for membrane adhesion.
Adjacent TPO sheets are fused with automated hot-air welders – creating a continuous, homogeneous seam stronger than any tape or adhesive method.
All parapet walls, pipe penetrations, HVAC curbs, drains, and edges receive TPO flashing or termination bars – fully welded to the field membrane.
Your TPO system is registered directly with the manufacturer under your building's address – 15 or 20-year NDL warranty (material + labor) with no dollar limit.
60 and 80-mil reinforced TPO membrane – FlexKEEPS technology for long-term flexibility. 20-year NDL warranty available. White, tan, or gray.
45, 60, and 80-mil options. Microban antimicrobial protection in the membrane. Energy Star qualified. 15 or 20-year NDL warranty.
Hot-air welded or induction-welded seams. Excellent low-temperature flexibility. 60 and 80-mil. 20-year warranty with Firestone's Red Shield coverage.
Polyiso insulation (R-values from 10–30) and HD cover boards installed beneath TPO for thermal performance and puncture resistance. Multiple thickness options.
We walk the roof with your facilities manager, assess substrate and insulation condition, check drains, and identify all penetrations for flashing.
We specify membrane thickness, attachment method (fully adhered or mechanically fastened), insulation R-value, and warranty tier – delivered as a line-item proposal.
Old roofing removed or prepared. Insulation installed and fastened. TPO membrane rolled out, positioned, and heat-welded at all seams and flashings.
We provide a photo closeout report, material certifications, and submit warranty registration paperwork – all delivered to your property management team.
